Independence Day

We celebrated our wholesome life of simplicity and freedom, thanking God for His many blessings!

The menu:

Sloppy joes from a cow grown on the property.

Greek Pasta salad with garden tomatoes, peppers, and herbs.

Festive pudding pie – red raspberries, blue blueberries, both hand picked, white vanilla pudding. 

Blue sky organic soda for a special treat.

And vitamins of course! 😉

  Pretzels were a rare treat in celebration of the special day as well.

As you can see, I spent most of my day in the kitchen. It was a joy to prepare a special little meal, thoughtfully counting each and every blessing. God is very good to us and we are thankful most of all for freedom in Christ!


After dinner, we sat on the hill and watched fireworks from 5 differnt towns.
